Smart Contract

The web-calculus provides a framework for building secure, distributed applications. Supporting trade, with all the sophistication of today's markets, is one of the more compelling uses for this technology. The Waterken^TM IOU protocol is a first step towards creating such a marketplace. The protocol provides a generic means for representing ownership and the ability to trade.
